The immediate Impact of your contribution

The following is a list of ways you could designate your gift to help sustain and expand the Academy community. While we appreciate gifts of any kind and wish to work with donors to fund areas of significant importance to them, undesignated contributions allow Academy leadership to direct resources toward our most immediate needs.

Contribution
Impact/Benefits

Donate a Fellow’s books for their year at the Academy. Receive a selected work along with Fellow comments.

Become a Friend of the Academy. Receive invitations to special events and speaker sessions hosted at Osprey Point.

Contribute to our Alumni scholarship fund, which helps Alumni attend conferences, pursue further education, host events in their community, or produce a unique project. In response, scholarship recipients represent the Academy publically and provide reflections on the impact of the Academy to their life and work.  Receive invitations to related public events and write-ups from recipients.

Scholarship a Fellow for one month. This amount will cover the costs of learning, food, books, and fees, as well as the cost of hosting one guest speaker.  During that month, a Fellow will send you an update about the life of the Academy and what he/she is learning.

Underwrite a curriculum segment with a leading Christian scholar or professional. Your gift exposes our Fellows and/or our Alumni network, to faithful leaders in our culture. Join us for a day or night during the week you sponsor to spend time with our speaker and our Fellows. Your contribution can also serve the speaker by providing him or her with time to write, work, and retreat at Osprey Point.

Sponsor our Annual Conference. The event draws guests from around the country to dialogue about forming a Christian perspective on a critical cultural issue. Past conference topics include science and faith, the nature of power and authority in our culture, technology and the human person, and US foreign policy.  Your gift will enable you to attend the conference at no charge.

Sponsor an Academy Senior Faculty member for a year at the Academy. Your gift will support the in-residence teaching of Dr. Os Guinness, Dr. William Edgar, or Dr. Joseph “Skip” Ryan for approximately three weeks.  Visit Osprey Point for two nights during the teaching of the Faculty member you sponsor at no charge.

Fund a full Academy scholarship for a Fellow. By sponsoring a Fellow you help us recruit the most gifted Fellows, including those who face high opportunity costs. Enjoy two nights at Osprey Point, including meals as well as dinner with the fellow you sponsor.

$50,000+

Serve as one of our key financial bridge-builders. A one-to-three-year commitment at this level will give Academy leadership more time to focus on long-term goals and financial sustainability. Enjoy two nights at Osprey Point to hear the speaker of your choice.

$100,000

Endow a week for a Scholar in Residence in your name. Your funds will support the research of a selected scholar who will continue his or her work at Osprey Point, while teaching the Fellows.

$500,000

Endow an Academy Fellowship in your name. Enjoy up to five nights a year at Osprey Point for relaxation and engagement with Fellows.
